Ohio’s animal welfare community lost a tremendous hero in Dave Hunt 1/13/22. Dave had a successful law enforcement career including the Chief of the Enforcement Division at ODA and supervisor of the Special Investigations Unit conducting animal fighting investigations at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. Dave was a mentor and friend to many who worked to decrease cruelty to animals in Ohio and beyond.
