Today we want to feature the OSU Mount Leadership Society Scholars for their service project event, Furever Homes, alongside the Cat Welfare Association!! 🐾
Volunteers constructed shelters using 18-gallon-sized bins, 30-gallon-sized plastic bins, hay, and duct tape. They made DIY cat toys from yarn, thread, bells, wooden sticks, pipe cleaners, and feathers. They will give 17 completed shelters plus 11 cat toys to the Cat Welfare Association to support their mission to protect homeless, abused, injured, and abandoned felines.
If you would like to get crafty for your local animal shelter, check out the no-sew fleece blanket article. Congrats again to Mount Scholars for such a successful animal welfare project!!
