COVID-19 has not stopped humane education efforts to go forward through virtual readings with RedRover. Krista Hyme, anOAA Board member and teacher at Johnnycake Corners Elementary in the Olentangy School District, and Michelle Kulewicz, an OAA educational advisor and librarian at Stewart Elementary in the Columbus Public School District,, are partnering with RedRover to provide virtual humane readings. The books presented to the elementary students are Max Talks to Me, Nobody’s Cats and Buddy Unchained, along with virtual interactions with animals.
