H.R. 7248 would facilitate the development of testing methods that reduce or replace the use of animals in nonclinical testing, according to its sponsors. The bill was introduced by Representative Buddy Carter along with 10 original cosponsors and has been referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
