A new report, Animal Markets and Zoonotic Disease in the United States, is the first to comprehensively map networks of animal commerce that fuel zoonotic disease risk in the U.S.

Researchers analyzed 36 different animal industries from the exotic pet trade to backyard chicken production and concluded that the increasing scale of under-regulated animal uses in the United States makes the country uniquely vulnerable to zoonotic disease outbreaks. Read the report now here!
