We need your help to strengthen protections for farmed animals in Ohio!
The Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board is conducting its five-year review of the rules governing livestock care in the state. The Animal Welfare Institute previously sent the board and the state Department of Agriculture recommendations to help ensure the standards better reflect best practices and current animal welfare science and, ultimately, more effectively protect Ohio’s farmed animals.
The Department of Agriculture made its proposed changes available for public comment until September 27. We need you to urge the board to adopt AWI’s recommendations before this deadline by sending this action alert to the board.
