Our next partner spotlight is ✨ RESCUEDohio ✨

RESCUEDohio is a registered 501(c)(3) founded in 2015. They serve dogs in need by assisting partner shelters and providing comprehensive care until a compatible home is found. Their efforts are fueled entirely by volunteers. They share a passion for transforming lives through educating our community and providing second chances for every dog who enters their foster-based program!

RESCUEDohio is a 100% volunteer-run organization with over 300 active volunteers who foster, train, transport, fundraise, advertise, and care for homeless dogs. Those volunteers, including our unpaid Board of Directors, contribute financially, mentally, emotionally, and physically to improve the lives of homeless dogs.

Each year, they are able to rescue and find homes for 300+ dogs. Though they are foster-based out of the Columbus area, most of the dogs they rescue come from surrounding rural shelters where resources are more scarce. With less funding and less community support, these shelters rely on organizations like ours to make a little more room in their crowded shelters by bringing dogs into our foster program.

They are always in need of foster homes! If you’d like to volunteer, foster, or apply to adopt, please visit their website at www.rescuedohio.org.
