OAA’s Executive Director Vicki Deisner, and interns Lilah Foley, Carli Frey, Andrea Nadolny and Justine Gibbon are working with community members in Mt. Healthy to advocate for an anti-tethering/extreme weather ordinance to protect dogs in the community. A hearing was held 9/7/21 at which OAA testified to the public safety and inhumane issues associated with tethering dogs, and OAA is researching Ohio ordinances and resource materials for the city.
