- The National Anti-Vivisection Society’s (NAVS) Compassionate Humane Options in Classroom Education (CHOICE) initiative now offers a CHOICE Policy Map. This interactive online resource shows which states and school districts allow for students to opt out of dissection – and easily download the language that guarantees your right to a humane alternative. Currently, 21 states and Washington, D.C., have laws or policies allowing K-12 students to choose not to dissect animals. Explore the CHOICE Policy Map.
- The National Anti-Vivisection Society’s (NAVS) Video Library now has more than 60 videos, including educational and informational videos, advocacy action opportunities, sanctuary spotlights, profiles of brilliant young NAVS/International Foundation for Ethical Research-funded scientists, and much more. - RedRover Readers Program is aligned with the Core Competencies for social and emotional learning (SEL) as identified by CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning).
- Use the RedRover Readers Objectives for a list of books and teaching guides used in the RedRover Readers Program that best align with the stated objectives and SEL competencies.

- The American Anti-Vivisection Society’s (AAVS) Science Bank, now in its 25th year, is the largest loan program for humane alternatives to dissection, including virtual alternatives that are available online (thesciencebank.org).
- The National Anti-Vivisection Society’s (NAVS) all new BioLEAP.org website is a comprehensive resource for identifying and acquiring the latest humane alternatives to classroom dissection by category of animal-type, grade level and format. In Fall 2021 NAVS will accept applications for grants up to $1000 for materials for educators transitioning to humane science alternatives from dissection activities.
