Jessica is an Illinois native, practicing attorney, and lifelong animal lover. Although she is relatively new to animal advocacy, she has spent significant time advocating and volunteering for the homeless population and issues related to child welfare. Jessica’s law career has included extensive practice in labor and employment law and pro bono work in underserved communities. It has also included work on various community projects such as food pantries, addiction services, leadership programs for underprivileged youth, and workshops and programs for the homeless population.
Jessica received her J.D. from Capital University Law School with concentrations in civil litigation and labor and employment law; her B.A. from the University of Illinois at Springfield in English, and her A.S. from Everest University in paralegal studies. She and her husband are licensed foster parents who reside in Gahanna with their two dogs, Gizmo and Zane.
