Missed the 2026 United Spay Alliance Conference? There's still an opportunity to learn from animal welfare experts at no cost!
Thanks to the generous support of the Joanie Bernard Foundation, a partner of OAA, scholarships are still available for residents of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana to access recordings from the 2026 United Spay Alliance Conference.
Hosted by United Spay Alliance and Community Cats Central, the two-day virtual conference brought together animal welfare professionals, veterinarians, shelter leaders, and advocates to explore innovative solutions for expanding access to affordable spay/neuter services and reducing pet overpopulation.
Although the live conference has concluded, attendees can revisit the presentations through recorded sessions, and eligible residents of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana can still receive complimentary access through the scholarship program.
Learn from Animal Welfare Experts at Your Own Pace
The conference featured a diverse lineup of speakers sharing practical strategies, firsthand experiences, and valuable insights into successful spay/neuter initiatives.
Recorded presentations cover a variety of important topics, including:
Starting and sustaining spay/neuter programs: Learn how to establish and maintain accessible, low-cost services.
Funding animal welfare initiatives: Explore grant-making programs and strategies for securing financial support.
Expanding veterinary access: Discover approaches to engaging private practitioners and increasing spay/neuter capacity.
Addressing rural challenges: Hear from advocates working to overcome barriers to veterinary care in underserved communities.
Community cat management: Explore best practices for high-volume trap-neuter-return (TNR), anesthesia, and low-stress handling.
Building stronger partnerships: Learn how animal welfare organizations and veterinary professionals can collaborate to reach more animals.
Whether you're a shelter professional, community cat caregiver, rescue volunteer, veterinarian, or animal advocate, these recordings offer valuable knowledge you can apply to your work.
Scholarships Still Available for Three States!
Through the generosity of the Joanie Bernard Foundation, eligible residents can receive scholarship-supported access to the educational sessions without paying the regular $75 conference registration fee.
This opportunity makes professional education and practical resources more accessible to the individuals and organizations working to improve animal welfare throughout the region.
And because the sessions are recorded, you can learn on your own schedule, revisit important information, and share new ideas with your organization or community.
