The Community Cat Program Management Certificate, offered in partnership with University of the Pacific's Benerd College, is an 8-week online course that takes you beyond the basics of TNR and into what it actually takes to build a program that lasts.
Over 8 weeks, you'll work through:
TNR fundamentals and population dynamics
Community engagement and public education strategies
Legal and ethical frameworks for humane animal management
Volunteer recruitment, retention, and leadership
Funding, sustainability, and program evaluation
Conflict resolution and community relations
Long-term program design
Course materials are pre-recorded so you can learn on your own weekly schedule, with live weekly Q&A sessions every Friday to bring your real questions to real instructors. Whether you're a caretaker, a shelter staffer, a nonprofit leader, or an animal control officer, you'll walk away with a repeatable framework — and a certificate to back it up.
The next cohort starts September 14, 2026.
