For over 30 years, this annual gathering has provided housing advocates, service-providers, community development professionals, policy-makers and individuals with lived experience the opportunity to converge, connect and co-create solutions for affordable housing and homelessness in Ohio. There will be 5 sessions of breakout workshops throughout the two-day conference.
Why This Conference Matters for People and Animals
Housing and animal welfare are closely linked. Many people experiencing homelessness remain unhoused because shelters or housing options do not allow pets β forcing them to choose between housing and a beloved companion. Addressing homelessness requires pet-inclusive solutions that recognize animals as family and remove barriers to safety, stability, and housing access.
