RedRover Readers Online Course is Now Available for Free

We’re excited to share a major update in the world of humane education: the RedRover Readers On-Demand Online Course — previously $35 — is now completely FREE for everyone.

This self-paced, online workshop is designed to help educators, advocates, and caregivers foster empathy, compassion, and social-emotional learning in children through meaningful, animal-themed stories and discussion.

What Is RedRover Readers?

RedRover Readers is a humane education program that helps children ages 7–11 explore the human–animal bond while building literacy, empathy, and emotional awareness. Through guided stories and discussion, children learn to recognize emotions, practice kindness, and understand how compassion for animals connects to compassion for people.

The on-demand online format allows participants to complete the workshop on their own schedule, making it accessible and flexible for busy educators and advocates.

Why This Matters

Humane education plays a critical role in building safer, more compassionate communities. Programs like RedRover Readers help children understand that animals have feelings — and that empathy, once learned, extends far beyond the classroom.

Making this course free removes barriers and allows more educators and advocates to bring these lessons to children nationwide.
